Indo US Civil Nuclear Deal was signed on March 2, 2006 between George Bush and Manmohan Singh. Full text of this 123 was released next year in August 2007. You can view full text of this Indo US Nuclear Deal here.
Now even after two years there are no clear signs of its implementation. In India main opposition is from CPI(M) which is strongly against the deal due to there Anti-Imperialism and anti-Americanism view which is also backed by there favorable view towards China.
All in all this deal concerns views of three countries i.e. India, China and USA. They are directly or indirectly concerned with the deal.
In India this deal is already supported by :
- Former Military Chiefs
- Bureaucrats and
- Scientists
This was published online in stories by Indian Express on 15 November 2007. View this open letter here.
Our former President APJ Abdul Kalam, one of the principal architects of the May 1998 nuclear tests also supports this deal.

Looking at all the news and views above it can't be denied that India need a civil nuclear plan for its energy requirements. Current prices of bio-fuels and future demands can create a critical condition for India. If this Indo US Civil Nuclear deal is able to safeguard all the legit concerns of India then no body has a right to stop India from adopting this agreement.

Currently India isn't ready to take the burden of an early elections but if some politicians (who are quiet on the border issue between India and China where China has recently moved into Sikkim) think that they can fool Indian citizens by first dragging the country into an early election and then asking the citizens to vote them to power for welfare of the state. Read more here.Yet in another incident an important political ally of UPA i.e. BSP found this time suitable to raise there voice against inflation and withdraw support from UPA.
In any case Indo US Nuclear Deal seems to cross all hurdles for welfare of this country and its citizens.
Gurjar's have been propitiated by providing a reservation of 5% under special class, without even touching or compromising on Meena Samaj's reservation status. This is really a very clever step in view of upcoming General Elections 2009. Gurjar issue caused a lot of trouble to citizens, losses to Government property and now its all over as if nothing has happened. Nobody knows who bears the responsibility of all the stir and losses.
Now its time for some more politics, on Friday, 20 June 2008 when body guards of Dera Saccha Sauda Chief Baba Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh opened fire on a protesting mob in which a person of sikh community died in Mulund, Maharastra. This lead to protest all over the Nanded, Maharastra demanding immediate arrest of Dera Chief.
On next day i.e. Saturady 21 June 2008, it spread across the country. Protestors blocked roads and highways. Closed shops forcefully. Stopped local train in Nanded for a few hours by pelting stones on them.
Agitation was called off after Maharastra Government assured a probe.
Who is responsible?
Now things have settled down, after causing a days inconvenience to citizens and even the agitators. Losses to private and public property. This has been there for quiet some time, people in India often pass there frustration on Government property especially buses and trains.
Nobody cares that inflation rate is already reached 11.5%, fuel prices are already up and such activities will only add to this. One has to keep his feelings under control because letting them out in such a manner will only create more of it. The property that is destroyed or damaged belongs to us and not to those who are responsible in the first place, we have to understand this. Nobody can provoke our emotions in such a destructive way, whether its politicians, a person or a group.
Now its time to fix responsibility, who is responsible for all the losses in any of the cases that had happened till date in India. Who was sleeping on duty, so that citizens had no other way to wake him up. Why did the issue crop up and how was it settled.
Those who are responsible for this delay and denied must bear the responsibility of damages and pay for it personally. Law and order must be forced right from the start and demands must be answered appropriately right at the beginning without forcing anyone to take a violent path for political or any other reason. India has to take some measures or things won't stay bright in future for India.

Indian stock markets are tumbling down and Indian politics is in all time high. This is the right time for Indian political leaders to sow political seeds for there party before the start of next political harvesting season next year, the year of General Elections to Indian Parliament.Gurjar card has been tossed again which has resulted in a calamity for a number of people, both Gujars and other citizens. One thing is sure whether they continue with there agitation or not, and that is they won't get exactly what they are demanding for, at least not before the next General Election 2009. I'm predicting this simply based on there strength or vote bank as compared to Meena Samaj. In India every body has a right to raise his voice, express his opinion but Government must decide whether the demand is justified or not. Now, in this issue there is no clear cut answer, answers make things clear for ordinary people and increase difficulties of vote bank politics. This has been there for quiet some time, there has been occassions when there was no problem but a lot of media coverage and politics on what could be the solution.Take for example the matter of subsidy in bio fuels like petrol, diesel, LPG. Everybody knowns that now it is no more practically possible to continue this subsidy at such a high rate. Even then there is politics whether to raise the price or not and by how much. Most of these subsidies put burden on the whole economy but the benefits of these subsidies aren't equally enjoyed by all. Those who have resources take most advantage of these subsidies, those who don't feel the burden indirectly and pay for these subsidies.Reservation issue has been a very interesting objective for our political leaders and they know this is the only way to create a vote bank for there party. Reservation is a way to create a political issue without a issue. Its a way to divide a society into groups and subgroups. Reservation issue has really paid well for some politicians, they don't know much about development, progress and other issues which will grip the country if they aren't attended right now. Actually real issues are difficult to raise and solve, they require a lot of expertise other than politics and there fore boring. Real issues don't have action, people aren't divided on them, they don't carve a niche for a political party.Reservation isn't bad but making reservation an issue of mutual hatred. Using reservation in a provocative way to ensure vote from one group is bad and unethical and in India anything that is bad and unethical is a synonym for politics. Gujar reservation issue isn't any different. It has got all the ingredients of a political process for next General Elections in India.
